Adding to its renowned gaming range, UK-based Rock has released the Rock Xtreme 770. Combining a powerful specification and market-leading graphics, the 17-inch laptop offers a new design and impressive power for home users.
Powered by Intel’s latest range of Core 2 Duo processors, buyers have a choice of three specifications. The basic model provides 1024MB of memory and 100GB hard drive, with the two higher specifications stretching to 2048MB and 160GB of storage space.

For high-performance gaming and multimedia, all models use nVidia’s flagship GeForce 8700M GT graphics card with 512MB of dedicated memory. Fully DirectX 10-compatable, there’s more than enough power to run the latest games in full speed and resolution. Adding further security and compatibility, a fingerprint scanner is built-in and an HD-DVD drive can be added for high-definition playback. Available now with a three-year warranty as standard, prices start at £1199(inc VAT).
