Team Dignitas continue the fight at SHG Open in Denmark armed with rock Xtreme notebooks!

Warwick, 15th February 2007.
rock continues to sponsor Team Dignitas’s Call of Duty 2 team in their fight to stay top in Europe at this weekend’s SHG Open in Copenhagen. The team will be armed with five of the award winning rock Xtreme CTX Pro notebooks featuring Intel® Core 2 Duo and NVIDIA GeForce Go 7950 GTX graphics cards allowing them to power through games and hopefully their competition too.

SHG Open 2007, a sold out event this year, takes place from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th February 2007 with 2,000 hardcore gamers expected. Team Dignitas are one of Europe’s strongest teams and are attending the event in the hope of continuing their success and bringing home a share of the total prize fund of 65,000 Euros.

Team Dignitas have won a series of gaming events with rock’s Xtreme CTX Pro including i29’s Call of Duty 2 tournament in November of last year. The rock notebook is ideal for the players as it offers the highest level of gaming and application performance available in a Centrino notebook.

Team Dignitas’ CoD2 team leader, Michael “Mick” Bradshaw commented: “We find the rock notebooks great because from a gamer’s point of view they are everything we need. The performance is phenomenal, out performing all of the CoD2 team’s personal desktop computers at home.”

Xtreme CTX Pro as used by Team Dignitas is in production and available to buy from rock’s website. For full details of the rock range of notebooks please see http://www.rockdirect.com.

The Team Dignitas website can be found at http://www.team-dignitas.org.
Photography of the team playing on the rock notebooks is available on request. Review samples available on request.
