Warwick – performance notebook manufacturer rock are looking forward to a positive 2007 following a hugely successful 2006. Their range of notebooks consistently impressed both the press and customers with over nineteen awards in one year. Highlights included Custom PC’s Best Performance Laptop 2006 and What Laptop Magazine’s Best Laptop for Performance and Features.

The team at rock had a clear focus for 2006; to lead the market with cutting edge technology without sacrificing quality. Their Intel Core Duo range proved a huge hit with rock accounting for 74% of Intel’s sales across EMEA for the first few months of sales of the top end T2700 processor. The range was later updated to the latest Core 2 Duo chips and continued to deliver strong results, reinforcing rock as the first choice for shoppers wanting cutting edge mobile performance from a reliable brand.

In November, rock became the first UK notebook manufacturer to advertise on TV with their sponsorship of the Cannonball 8000 rally coverage on ITV1. With Vista around the corner, 2007 will be an exciting year and rock promises to continue to offer unbeatable performance. 2007 has got off to a good start already with rock’s New Year Offers live on their website giving customers an extra incentive to upgrade in January and February.
