High performance notebook manufacturer rock today announced plans for two new notebooks using Intel·s Core 2 Duo mobile processor. Both build on the strengths of existing designs offering all the same great features and looks but with more power under the bonnet.

The new Intel® Core™ 2 Duo mobile processor will power the Xtreme CTX Pro and Pegasus 665 when available at the end of August.

Combining the most powerful mobile graphics cards with Core 2 Duo processor, this move will ensure these models continue to offer best in class mobile application and gaming performance. Xtreme CTX Pro is the ultimate mobile gaming notebook featuring NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX graphics card and 17” X-Glass screen. Pegasus 665 is the notebook of choice for those looking for gaming and application power in a more mobile form factor. With a 15.4” screen and NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 graphics, it offers serious performance in a 3.1kg package.
