Keyboard Not Working During Entering your Windows Product Key

After reinstalling Windows and when activating it is often necessary to re-enter your Windows product key. Please note that certain keys are disabled during this process because they aren't used in product keys. The product key can be found on a sticker on the underside of your notebook. Please enter it with care and note that the 'B' charachter is often mistaken for an '8' and vice versa. To avoid damage to your notebook we would recommend turning it off and placing it upside down to make a note of the key on paper then entering this key with the notebook in its normal position.

When activating Windows it is sometimes necessary to clear the default key already entered. This is normal and occurs as a result of a generic installation key being entered at manufacture.
