INTRODUCING THE NEW PEGASUS DTS FROM ROCKDIRECT
Warwick based notebook manufacturer
rockdirect has today announced a new stylish portable
PC targeted towards users who demand a total mobile
computing solution for work or play. The new design-conscious
addition to the Pegasus series, the Pegasus DTS strikes
the optimum balance between wireless mobility and entertainment
and will start at a selling price of £999 excluding
Vat.
In addition to being the ultimate business
tool for productive computing on the go, the Pegasus
DTS is a notebook for entertainment on the move thanks
to an exciting feature list that simply cannot be found
on other Centrino notebooks. The new Pegasus DTS combines
Intel® Centrino™ Mobile Technology with a
high definition WXGA widescreen 15.4” TFT display,
and a superior 5 speaker sound system, including a built-in
sub woofer as standard. So not only is it designed to
maximise wireless mobility, Pegasus DTS can work and
play as hard as its user wants it to. So whether users
want to connect to the office anywhere anytime, or watch
their favourite DVD movies on the go, the Pegasus DTS
will fulfil all computing requirements.
The most desirable mobile computing
technologies have been incorporated into the Pegasus
DTS which also plays host to a DVD recorder, compatible
with the widely accepted DVD -R/-RW formats. This
means that over 4GB of valuable data can be backed up
in one go, or over two hours of full multimedia content.
And that’s without the need to plug anything else
into the machine. The machine is feature enhanced further
by the built in video camera module, which comes as
standard. So whether users wish to have a casual chat
with friends via Microsoft Messenger or a videoconference
for business, the Pegasus DTS with integrated wireless
capabilities will enable users to go online and communicate
anytime, anywhere.
"A business notebook, need not
be a boring notebook,” says Nick Boardman, Managing
Director of rockdirect. "The Pegasus DTS incorporates
the latest Intel Centrino Mobile Technology to provide
business users with performance and seamless wireless
connectivity whilst on the move and the Widescreen format
affords the running of multiple applications or impressive
spreadsheets. The awesome screen and 5 speaker sound
system will also provide road warriors with a high-quality
multimedia experience, the ideal escapism from tiresome
commuting and hotel stopovers. Up to 4.5 hours battery
life ensures enough power to get through a full-length
feature DVD and to get some work done as well.”
