London, 19th November 2004; Rock Group plc has launched the brand new XTREME Ti, the ultimate gaming notebook. As standard, the XTREME Ti contains the PCI Express x16 ATI Mobility X800 graphics chip, the fastest mobile graphics processor in the world today. Inside the chassis you will also find DDR2 RAM, a first for any notebook.
The Xtreme Ti is designed for the future, today. With the ability to have the graphics processor unit upgraded when new graphics cards become available, the Xtreme Ti allows for years of exceptional gaming performance.
With a 17” widescreen TFT, featuring X-Glass technology that provides better colour and brilliance for an intensive visual experience, integrated sub-woofer and DVD writer, you can use without booting into Windows, the Xtreme Ti is the ultimate digital entertainment system.
“Never before has so much flexibility provided so much performance. With an upgradeable GPU, the most performance hungry games releases will be playable simply by changing the processor on the graphics card. No other notebook computer will give its owner the ability to play today’s cutting edge games at the highest settings and ensure that next years releases can also be enjoyed as their designers intended. We are proud to be the first notebook manufacturer to be bringing this new technology to the world” said Nick Boardman, Managing Director of Rock Group plc.
John Byrne, Managing Director Northern Europe of ATI Graphics said “at ATI we have established ourselves as a world leader for innovative 3D graphics. The brand new Radeon® X800 graphics card sets new standards in graphics performance and visual realism. We chose to partner with Rock as we needed to work closely with a notebook manufacturer that is known in the industry for producing cutting edge technology”.
