All 10Gb, 20Gb and 30Gb HDD’S in ultra-slim 9.5mm form factor, incorporate both head load/unload and FDB (Fluid Dynamic Bearing) technology, making them the only choice for Portable Computing systems. These drives bring desktop capabilities to the mobile market.

These new mobile drives are the first to feature the Ultra ATA 100 interface and offer much increased performance over previous generations, which coupled with their ruggedness, small size and lower power consumption makes them ideally suited to notebooks.

About ‘Silent HDD’ Technology:

Now combined with a special silent seek function and denoted ‘Silent HDD’ technology this gives customers vastly improved acoustic performance achieving virtually silent operation whilst offering greater reliability in extreme environments, better tolerance to shock, and improved seek performance by eliminating errors due to NNRO, Non-Repeatable Run-out when compared with old style Ball Bearing versions.
